Doug has spent nearly 30 years working at the intersection of health care, law and entrepreneurism. He has been the founder and CEO of venture-backed technology companies in the medical device, digital health and robotics sectors. In 2013, Fierce Medical Devices named him one of the Fierce 15 emerging CEOs in medical devices. Before his entrepreneurial career, Doug was a partner in a global law firm’s Washington office, where he focused on medical technology and policy. Doug is a graduate of the University of Southern California and the American University’s Washington College of Law. He is currently the founder and CEO of Gauntlet Technologies, a commercialization and strategic development firm focused on deep technology.
